Hi yā€™all! Iā€™m thrilled to see people from all over the world, itā€™s amazing to se yā€™all here. Iā€™m Dominika, joining from Poland. Iā€™ve been learning how to code since May but since Iā€™m working full-time it is really difficult to consistently learn new things in my spare time. Cannot wait for the bootcamp! Having a cohort for sure will kep us all motivated :smiley:

Hey everyone!! I am Ramya (she/her). I did a few courses in HTML freecodecamp section for webdev fundamentals a couple of years ago. I am looking forward to this course to brush up and strengthen my webev basics, especially handling CSS and flexing.

I am sure this will strengthen my foundation in playing an active role in DevRel by empathizing and understanding developers better.

DevRel is notoriously hard to define but, luckily, RamĆ³n (who runs the other Bootcamp, the JS one) recently gave a talk on the topic if youā€™re curious. Heā€™s a great speaker, so it at the very least itā€™ll be enjoyable to watch. This article might also be a good start!

I think DevRel is a great field for folks who want to incorporate different skill sets into their work ā€” coding, content, outreach, marketing, community management, public speaking, to name just a few. Iā€™ve come to it fairly recently by realising that what I was already doing in the realm of content, branding and marketing all fit into the area of DevRel, and that I was just missing the coding skills. :blush:
