Hi Olga! I also āletā my skills get a bit rusty. We can work on them together! I was an English teacher and you did great there, just little slipups that us fluent speakers also make. So donāt feel bad at all!
You missed a couple verb tenses:
I havenāt coded in yearsā¦
I havenāt found the opportunityā¦
Also another tricky one using āitā that takes a long time to master:
I left it all behindā¦
Hey everyone,
My name is Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. I kind of new to web development. I have developed websites for many businesses as well as mines when I was running one. I know I can expand my knowledge in this field and this what brings me here. I hope everyone does great and good luck.
Hi Tino, good to meet you here! Iām currently studying Python as well. I had tried JavaScript but found it super complicated as well. Iām using python as my āgatewayā programming language and am having so much fun with it.
Hi Jess (and Everyone enrolled),
My name is Melvin Rice. Thanks so much for offering this Bootcamp. I am from the United States and itās wonderful to see people enrolled from all over the world. This is the first Bootcamp Iāve ever enrolled in and I am excited.
Hello everyone! My name is Atwood Murray. I live in Baltimore, Maryland USA. This is my first bootcamp, but I have completed some online courses studying HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & React. Iām hoping that enrolling in this bootcamp will allow me to continue learning, practicing, and make a couple of new friends who are also learning how to code!
I am mildly familiar with Software Development concepts as I just finished my Bachelorās degree in Computer Systems Information Technology with a specialization in Software and Program Development.
I have been facing Imposter Syndrome every since my last semester of my degree started, thinking that Iāve learned nothing (or at least just NOT ENOUGH) during my education, especially since I recently started job hunting in the IT field and have noticed the requirements to jump in with most employers.
However, after completing the first weekās workload, I can confidently say I already KNEW everything that was covered which made me feel like I am taking the right direction in participating in this boot camp.
I hope it will be a good jump start to my desire to get into coding, whether it is web-based or not!
Good luck to everyone, I wish nothing but the best to all you for taking the initiative, like me, and seeking some (mostly)self-led learning opportunities!
Iām William from the United States. I have no professional background in coding. The only experience I have with it was taking a C++ Programming for Engineers course in college, which was dense and I think turned me off of programming for some time. I want to make a career change and I think web development coding skills would compliment my bachelorās degree in marketing nicely.
Iām looking forward to learning with everyone!
Iām Isaiah Henson from Pennsylvania, Iām here for the challenge. I work & attend college part time for CS at 32. Itās nice seeing people all over the world here in this space. Sometimes itās difficult to find people who share common interests, together beginning a journey. Stick with it, I wish you all the bestā¦
Hi , I am Thiri from Maryland. I just graduated with computer science major, so currently, Iām looking for the job and taking some online classes. Nice to meet you all !
Iām Alex, studying from Brazil; Iām starting to learn about development I havenāt decided if I want to go on the backend or the frontend, letās learn together.
