Hello all!! I am Beryl. I am a little bit late to the party and feeling a bit nervous with excitement.

This is the first ever bootcamp that I join. I am a total newbie in IT field and would love to start off my journey in IT with web development. By joining this bootcamp, I would like to learn the ins and outs (fundamental knowledge and skill) to create a good website in real world. Hopefully, I could create my own website from scratch with coding.

Also, I am looking forward to meet new friends here so that we could learn, support and grow together

Thank you very much!!

Hi, I’m Renato and I’m from Brazil, now living in Israel.

I’m a junior fullstack, and I enrolled in this bootcamp to refresh and review my knowledge, for web development.

I hope I can meet a lot of new friends and also share and learn from the group! Nice to meet you all!

Hello!

Greetings from South Africa :south_africa:

I’m an old dog wanting to learn new tricks. After many years in corporate, I’m keen to dabble in web dev (and other coding applications - I’m also learning Python & JS) so I can keep my skill set current and useful.

LOVING the pace of this bootcamp and the format of the tasks. Before the bootcamp kicked off, I was very anxious about not being able to keep up, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I especially appreciate the recordings - I work full-time, so I’m not always able to join the live sessions.

@jesslynnrose, you are an amazing instructor. Thanks for making learning web dev accessible!!

Hi David, just wondering how you’re doing and if you still need some help, what do you need help with.

Welcome Beryl, it’s a good place to start learning, hope you learn lots. You can create a basic website and then enhance it as you learn more. Good Luck!

Hiiii everyone! My name is Diana from Ecuador. I just found this bootcamp a few days ago, I’m hoping to get up to speed asap so I can follow the groups pace. I have no background in web development or coding so I’m very excited!! Even though I probably won’t be able to connect to some livestreams due to time difference, I’ll make sure to watch all of them! If anyone is interesed in setting up study sessions, please let me know.

Hi @jesslynnrose good to see so many nice people already here, very happy to be among such great company.

I’m a lifelong learner and volunteer in coding communities locally in the UK.

Raspberry pi enthusiast, SD card killer, and persistent noobie.

Sorry I’m late.

New job and a holiday really did throw chaos into my very poor routine.

From the responses so far everyone is rightly excited, I’ve been through the freecodecamp material before and it’s excellent.

It will be great to study with you all.

I’d like to help where I can, and am going to plough through the HTML chunk to catch up and hopefully be in time for the next live stream.

Is there any where we can catch up with the historical streams, there already have been some great guests, gutted to have missed them.

Best wishes,

Frankie (@fth.nix on twitter)

Thank you so much for taking the time to get back to me @dhawal that’s very kind.

It is good to know they’re there, didn’t want to miss out on any of it.
