Unable to use Discord

I accepted the invite, but am unable to see ANYTHING in Discord. Just a black screen with the Discord logo. No chats, no text strings, no nothing. Any suggestions as to why this may be happening?

Figured out that the issue is the VPN Firewall at my government agency. When i am not on VPN, i am able to access the channels just fine. Thanks for the prompt resplies!
